It's a pressure-cooker.
It's a surgical thingie.
It's a thermostat.
It's a... banjo!

Mother Nature has so many
wonderful things in her garden,
especially if one takes the time
to look closely. Wait a minute -
is she sticking her tongue out
at us?

Not to burst your balloon, but
this wasn't manipulated in
post-production - it was heart-
shaped to begin with! You can
imagine the temptation to
juuuust let the point touch the
surface...

Graphic? Yes.
An image with impact? Yes.
Futuristic? Yes.
Upscale phone booth? No.
Hmmm...

One of many photos we have
done of archive materials. This
is from a series of plans and
sketches of the Phoenix Park in
Dublin, many of which dated
back to the 19th Century and
were up to 7 or 8 feet across!

Yes, another 'what is it?' photo.
All I know is that it's really a
fantastic image and that's all I
care about. If I knew that it
was a cutaway hot water
cylinder I probably wouldn't
even mention it.

An extraordinary image of an
ordinary subject. Should
obviously be in a 'cold' gallery
rather than 'cool' but it was
taken in the summertime.

The photographer had a great
time taking this photo while
strapped to the boat (and I
enjoy looking at pictures of
people who pay to feel
queasy).

A wonderfully atmospheric
image. Wearing shades in the
studio? Must have been the
light on her face that was a
bother - and she's looking
rather gray as well...
